ABout the Foundation

The Belmont Library Foundation (BLF) exists to promote the construction and endowment of a new public library in Belmont.

It supports the vision of a centrally located, state-of-the-art library situated in a vibrant park featuring facilities for active recreation as well as leisure and cultural activities.

The Foundation will work to:

1. raise funds from private sources to minimize the cost of this project for Belmont's taxpayers,
2. assist the Library Trustees, Friends of the Belmont Public Library and the Belmont Library staff in generating popular support to make this vision a reality, and
3. ensure broad and effective communication within the Belmont community to achieve this goal.
